California law provides that cannabis business licenses are not transferrable. But it is permissible to buy a controlling interest in a business entity that holds such a permit or license. We regularly work with Buyers, Sellers and Brokers in handling all aspects of buy/sell transactions for licensed businesses. 

Our experience includes working with cannabis business brokers with a high volume of transactions. We have closed transactions valued at many millions of dollars for all the cannabis license types including storefronts, delivery services, cultivation and manufacturing. We are familiar with conducting due diligence investigations and preparation of all transaction documents and negotiations necessary to close the deal. Although based in San Diego, we regularly handle transactions throughout the State of California. We have worked with investment groups from Canada, Europe and elsewhere with California cannabis business transactions.
